¿Permisos para 'sin papeles'?
Así como en Arizona y Alabama se han promovido legislaciones que restringen derechos a los inmigrantes sin papeles, en California se estará impulsando una iniciativa que otorgaría permiso de trabajo legal a los indocumentados.

Se trata del "Plan California", una iniciativa que ayer se reveló en el Congreso Latino que se llevó a cabo en el Pitzer College de Claremont, con la cual se estaría desafiando a las leyes federales ante la inacción del Congreso y de la Casa Blanca respecto a la reforma migratoria.

  • 2011 Unofficially Proposed National Latino Congreso Resolutions (0) The first step in the resolution process, considered policy will first be posted here so Delegates/Observers may read, edit, show support/opposition, and consult with authors. Resolutions listed here may still be edited by the author(s). Each resolution features an option to propose an Amendment.
  • 2011 Officially Proposed National Latino Congreso Resolutions (3) Resolutions listed here are officially on the agenda for consideration by the National Latino Congreso at the Plenary Sessions. Resolutions listed may ONLY be amended by votes at the Plenary Session in Los Angeles. Each resolution features an option to propose an Amendment.
  • Approved National Latino Congreso Resolutions (244) Please familiarize with the previous work of the National Latino Congreso. They are still in affect, and new resolutions must cite them if you plan on expanding, refining, or overturning an existing resolution topic. Here, an organization's delegate may also submit amendments, submit subject literature, and expressly list their support or opposition to specific resolutions.
