Mr. Frank Ramirez is the CEO and co-founder of Ice Energy, Inc. www.ice-energy.com a Windsor, Colorado based developer of transformational hybrid cooling solutions built on the values of integrity, leadership, and environmental stewardship. The Company is a leading developer and provider of clean, efficient, and intelligent energy storage and cooling systems for commercial and residential customers, as well as electric power grid operators and utilities. Formerly, he founded and managed an energy start-up that developed innovative inside-the-fence energy solutions for mission critical facilities, and founded and directed Structured Capital Management, a northern California boutique investment bank specializing in complex asset securitizations. Mr. Ramirez is a former principal of Alex Brown & Sons, and a former managing director of Bear, Stearns and Co., both NYSE companies. He began his career as a staff attorney for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Ramirez serves as Vice President of Scoutreach for the Western Region Board of the Boy Scouts of America, and as a trustee of the Longs Peak Scout Council Board. Mr. Ramirez formerly served on the Board of The Children’s Hospital of Colorado, as a trustee of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Trust, the Executive Committee of the Pacific Skyline Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Advisory Board of the Stanford Center for Chicano Research, and the Board of Trustees of the Colorado Outward Bound School. A native of Pueblo Colorado, Mr. Ramirez received a B.A. in economics from Stanford University; a J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley; and an M.B.A from Stanford University.
