Eduardo Rallo

Mr. Rallo is Managing Director at Pacific Community Ventures (PCV), a community-focused venture capital fund. He is responsible for venture investments, including assuming seats on financed company boards, helping to recruit key management team members for portfolio companies, assisting in problem-solving with portfolio company leaders, helping to develop new PCV initiatives and working with the rest of the portfolio team throughout the due diligence and investment processes. He currently sits on three of PCV’s portfolio company boards of directors (Kimomex, Moving Solutions and New Key Financial) in addition to the UCSD Alumni Association board.

Mr. Rallo is the Chairman and co-founder of Resmex Group, Inc. which manages five different restaurant concepts in the Bay Area and has over 350 employees. He is also Chairman and co-founder of Farmacias Remedios, a pharmacy chain focused on the Hispanic Market.

Prior to PCV, Mr. Rallo co-founded World Wrapps Restaurants, a Nation’s Restaurant News Hot Concept Winner, in 1994. He oversaw the growth of the company to a 26-store chain of gourmet, innovative, quick-service restaurants and raised over $16MM in growth capital from top tier venture firms. In 1999, Mr. Rallo co-founded and served as managing director of BrainStorm Ventures of San Francisco, a seed capital and early stage investment fund which has invested in 24 companies across the e-commerce, software and sectors including companies like Opentable.com and Zappos.com. While at BrainStorm, he served on the board of directors, advisory board or the executive team of several of the fund’s portfolio companies, which have in total raised over $220 million in additional capital.

Mr. Rallo received an MBA from Harvard University in 1993 and graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego in 1989.
